It didn't matter if I did beat you in game, I am already behind most of you...just a couple of us still under 10 at this point...and I am just hoping to keep up with them and not lose my wife in the process. hehe.
Hell we've only been married since Sept, but together for 6 years... but everytime a new game comes out she gets jealous and with my ADHD man do I play loads of games...for a little while at a time. lol.
Thankfully she is hooked on Facebook's Farmville...
I think I made LT Rank 8 finally last night before logging off. if only I had a better PC at work...then again I'd probably get fired for gaming.

I have to say though I am really glad I got to meet all you guys and game with you. Good bunch of fellows and its great to meet more gamers outside DoO. And as this is the first MMO in a while that has me interested I am hopeful that I will play for quite a while....

As for the Klingon character I am waiting until later to start one, mostly because I have the Joined Trill as my preorder deal and want to make one with that... and I also need to decide if I am remaking my Fed character as a JT as well. I am unsure as I really dig the character look I designed for my current character and also dread starting over again... then again I haven't gotten that far yet and could probably catch up a little quicker now that I know some of the missions and capabilities better...

Hey Ormtrod... I feel your pain man : .... My wife always gets after me when a new game comes out so I have to plan my gaming around her "needs"

I just hit Lt8, so don't you have company here behind the pack... I am really enjoying the game more than I thought I would... Yeah there are the crashes and "server down for service" issues, but overall it has been a good launch.... We will see how it goes this week as the other players start to login at the offical start date tomorrow.

Still sorting out the training and upgrading of skills for the bridge officers and weighting my options on what ship to specialize in when I reach Lt Commander.... Right now leaning toward a Science ship, but also like the heavy cruiser.

I'm hoping to steal an hour of playtime this evening while the wife is at physical therapy, but we will see...
I'm enjoying it as well. And I am starting to wonder if I didn't put too many points into some of the BO abilities. I took most to 4 or 6 on my primary 3 officers. Currently I have the Emergency power to shields at 6/recharge shields 4, Torpedo spread at 4-5/proton grenade 4, and Jam sensors at 2 or 4/some way to heal at 4 as I'm not sure about that skill yet, its neat and all but I am wondering if the one that takes shields down wouldn't be better...
I have at least 400 points in my Engineering BO and 300 in the Tactical and Science BOs.

I have another Science officer that was given to me, that I should have used to train my current one, but I commissioned instead. I haven't raised any abilities on that one yet..as its science team and a device that removes debuffs.

I am also stuck on my next ship choice... I love playing with the cannons and am leary of losing that by not choosing an escort. But I also love the tanking idea of the cruisers... hadn't actually considered science at this point but I also haven't done any research on them...
